Evelyn Marie Thomas passed away March 13, 2019 in Rockwall, TX. Evelyn was born on September 2, 1929 to George and Louise Kelly in Ennis, TX. She married Leroy Thomas on September 30, 1947 in Washington state and went on to have six children. She spent her life as a loving mother and eventually a loving grandmother.Evelyn is preceded in death by both her parents George and Louise Kelly and her husband Leroy.She is survived by her daughters, Jody “Jo” Nell Carter of Pottsboro, TX, Mary Jane McClintock of Frisco, TX, Kelly Anne Moore, Nancy Lee Himmelreich of Rockwall, TX; sons Thomas Lee Thomas of Rockwall, TX, and Jeffrey Edward Thomas.Family is receiving guests Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 5pm-7pm with Rosary starting at 7pm in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18th, 2019 at 10am at the Church in the City located in Rowlett with interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
