It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Evon Nettle, a truly remarkable soul whose kindness and love touched everyone she met. Evon passed away on December 5th at the age of 100. Leaving behind her family she so deeply cherished.
Born on July 23rd in Quitman, Texas. Evon lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. She was a beacon of love, always extending her hand to those in need—whether they were family, friends, or even the many helpless cats she so lovingly rescued and cared for.
Her home was a sanctuary, for all of her family and for anyone who needed a warm meal, a kind word, or simply a place to feel safe. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie and grandchildren DeAnn, Michael, Jamie, Joy, Danna, Becky, Ricky, Tonya, Rhonda, Shelley, Stacey, Sheila, Misty, Bill and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren who will forever carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
