Felix “Buddy” Galimore, Jr. was born August 9, 1937 to Felix and Ellen Galimore, Sr. in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. He completed is education in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. He met and married Ruby York, and to that union three children were born: Gary, Kenneth, Cynthia. Later he had three more children: Todd, Jay, and Mikkell. He is preceded in death by his parents, one child; Cookie, one grandson; Remonte Hannon, one brother, Willie Poole; and three sisters, Olar Lee Powell, Perry Lee Smith, and Ollie Trunnell. Buddy leaves to cherish his memory six children, Gary Galimore, Kenneth Galimore, Cynthia Glimore Foreman, Todd Galimore, Jaye Galimore, Mikkell Galimore; eight grandkids, Charnika Galimore, Lea Michelle Galimore, Ronnie Galimore, LaRonn Scott, Khyla Jackson, Monique Luia, Raychelle Hale, Maro Hale; two great grandchildren, Paisley Martin and Ellie Bell; two sisters, Ellen Galimore and Lillie Galimore; and a host of nieces, hephews, cousins, and friends.At this time, a funeral service for Felix is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Abbey Chapel in Restland Cemetery. A visitation will be held the day prior on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home.
