Florence Ann Rea, 73, of Highland Village passed away on September 23, 2020 in Richardson, Texas. She was born on January 7, 1947, to John DeForest Rea and Helen Rae in Corry, Pennsylvania.
Florence loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She had a feisty, bubbly, fun personality with a quick wit. She was a fantastic cook and baker and she loved to discover new recipes to try on her family and friends. She loved to visit family and friends in Ohio and Pennsylvania and invested in those relationships even though she lived in Texas. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her beloved family.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Potter (Chris) of Richardson, and Charles Chaple (Amy) of Highland Village; grandchildren, Taylor Chaple, Donovan Potter, Brendan Chaple, and Emerson Potter; brothers, Jay Rae (Ester) of Ohio, John Rea (Judy) of Pennsylvania, Lauren Rea (Judy) of Pennsylvania; neices and nephews, Jay C Rea, Loris Elliot, Tracy Rea, Brian Rae, Keith Rea, Darlene Stratton, Dale Rea, Jeff Rea, Roxanne Rea, Kevin Rea, Robin Wilson, Rodney Rea, and Denise Hall.
