Frances Adelaide Anderson's Obituary
Frances Adelaide Anderson of Plano, Texas was born on February 15, 1938 in Longview, Texas to Hooks and Lucy Wiginton.
She passed away on February 10, 2026 in Plano, Texas. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and brother, Rex. She is survived by her son, Jim and daughter Ann.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from Longview High School in 1956, and received her college degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown Texas in 1969. She was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, the National Social Science Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu, and Alpha Chi.
Mrs. Anderson received a masters degree from East Texas State University on August 14, 1981.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was with the Nancy Horton Davis Chapter in Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Anderson was an extraordinarily dedicated teacher who began her career with Dallas Christian Academy in Dallas, Texas. She retired from teaching at Berean Christian Academy in Irving, Texas.
Mrs. Anderson held herself and her students to a high standard based on biblical principles. The final effect of her amazing influence on so many lives will likely only be known in eternity.
A celebration of life graveside service will take place the afternoon of Friday, February 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
