Dr. Frank Perry Jr.'s Obituary
Age, 74 Salisbury, NC passed away on March 13, 2009. Born June 4, 1935 in Robinson County, TX he was the son of the late Frank Perry and Rosezeller Hamilton Perry. A graduate of Kemp High School, Bryan TX, he received a BA in Music Education and Fine Arts from Jarvis Christian College; a Master in Music Education and Fine Arts Jarvis Christian College; a Master in Music Education from Midwestern State University; a Doctoral of Arts from the Atlanta University (Clark), Atlanta, GA; Certification of Higher Education Administration from Texas Southern University; and studied voice, opera and theater at Julliard School of Music, New York. He was last employed at Livingstone College, Salisbury, as a Professor of Voice. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Rayford Perry. Survivors include his wife, Ann E. Harden Perry of the home; two daughters, Lorisa (Mark) Perry Douglas, Plano, TX and Chimene Perry Brandon, Plano, TX; two sons, Bobby Joe (Effie) Perry, Bryan, TX and Willie B. Perry, California; two grandchildren: Judge Aaron Brandon, II, Salisbury and Breana Douglas, Plano, TX. Services will be held at 12:30PM, Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Restland Memorial Chapel with interment following in Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM prior to service, at Restland Funeral Home.
