Fredna Marian Baird's Obituary
Fredna Boswell Baird age 98 passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Born in Dallas on March 28, 1916, Fredna and her husband, Bob raised their family in Dallas where they were long time members of Cliff Temple Baptist Church. After moving to Kansas City for ten years they came back to Texas and spent their retirement years in Richardson. Fredna is preceded in death by her husband, Bob and grandson, Mark Baird. She is survived by her son, Robert Baird of Corsicana and daughter, Bonnie Baird Burden of Celina; four grandchildren, Jason Jones of Austin, Amy Scherer of Prosper, Katy Jones of Dallas and Randy Baird of Atlanta GA.; four great grandchildren, Baylor and Wyatt Scherer of Prosper, Ethan and Rhett Jones of Austin. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Settlers Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility in Celina and to the wonderful care she received in the end from the Heart to Heart Hospice family. She was blessed with a loving family and long life. Private graveside service will be held for family members. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
