I was introduced to Galle almost 23 years ago through my then manager, who was a former co-worker of Galles from his TI days. We had a project that needed someone to design and make a fixture for it and my manager instantly though of Galle. We contacted Galle and had a group meeting the next day.
A couple days later Galle invited me to lunch, at which time he offered me a position at GLA. I jumped at the opportunity.
Not only did Galle teach me a tremendous amount but he also let me expand, develope new skills, and discuss design ideas and concepts.
He chalenged me to do "the best" not just good enough.
It was not long before I was leading others, designing parts / assemblies / systems for customer product needs. With each new project came learning new skills and expanding others.
After a short while, I was traveling to major Semiconductor companies in other states and several other Countries world wide, that I never thought I would visit.
I would do training, installations and repairs on GLA designed and built equipment.
Galle also included me in trade shows.
He had the faith in me to do a good job representing GLA and the GLA products and continue to make the GL Automation name known and respected world wide.
