Gary Paul Little's Obituary
Gary Little, 75, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Robert and Lucille Little on June 1st, 1947. He grew up with his sister, Shelley Little McCombe and late brother, Jerry Little.
He attended The University of Minnesota where he played football and hockey and studied Psychology. After attending college, he traveled the world and was an entrepreneur and successful sales executive. Later, he was a long-time employee at Coca-Cola for 20 plus years where he held the position of Regional Sales Manager. After retiring, he enjoyed attending sporting events and watching football with family and friends. He listened to local radio station 1310 The Ticket all day every day as a loyal P1 and he always made sure to catch the Dallas Cowboys when they were on.
Gary was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished family time. He always looked forward to visits from his grandchildren where he told entertaining stories, sometimes with a hint of exaggeration.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa McIntosh, and sister, Shelley Little McCombe; children, Melissa Ellis, Jennifer Shrestha, Jessica Finlay with husband Jimmy Finlay, Spencer Little; grandchildren, Emma Ellis, Megan Ellis, Brennan Shrestha, Dylan Shrestha, and James Finlay. Gary was also a loving father to late son, Jack Little.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at Restland Dallas, Wildwood Chapel on Friday, February 17th at 2pm.
