Gary Coe Smith's Obituary
Gary Coe Smith, age 60, of Richardson, Texas passed away peacefully on 6/25/2012 at home. He was born on 12/8/1951 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, Jimmie Coe and June Smith. Gary was one of 5 children. He married Barbara in Richardson on Dec 26, 1982. They had no child(ren). He attendend Richardson Schools and graduated in 1970. He was a lifelong resident of Richardson, Texas for 60 years and employed by The University of Texas at Dallas for 32 years. Gary was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed following and supporting the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Gary will be remembered by his loving wife. He is also survived by his mother, June Smith, his brothers and sister-in-Iaws Jim and Janica Smith, Jay and Sandi Smith, and his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Sean Hearrell. He also has nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives who will miss him greatly. Predeceased in death by his father, Jimmie Coe Smith; his brother, Vinson Smith; his grandparents, Paul and Edna Smith and Casey and Ruby Vinson. A memorial service will be held at 11:30a.m on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Big Springs Baptist Church in Garland, TX.
