George Everett Bosher's Obituary
Bosher, George Everett was born December 15, 1925 and was a lifelong Dallas resident. He worked for Woolf Bros. clothing stores for 42 years as a buyer and manager. He served in the Navy during WW II in the Pacific as a radio operator. He was married for 61 years to his wife, Frances, who died in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Carol Lockhart and husband, Bill; son, Ron Bosher and wife, Sally; sister, Juanita Purdy; four grandchildren, Cara Schroeder, Jana Berwald, Ruth Ann Yates, William Lockhart and six great grandchildren. Since retiring, Mr. Bosher was a very active volunteer with the Arboretum, Senior Source Money Managing, Meals on Wheels and an AARP driver saftey instructor. He and Frances were officers in the North Texas Square and Round Dance Association, were members of the Stone Steppers square dance club. They were members of the Lake Highlands Baptist Church for 45 years and Mr. Bosher was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church since 2006. The funeral service will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, December 5, 2014 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation 1 hour prior.
