SONNTAG, GEORGIA GLADYS MURPHY was born on August 23, 1931 in Mildred, Texas and passed away on March 28, 2013 in Arlington, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, George Washington Murphy; mother, Mittie Mae Ferrell Murphy; step-mother, Emma Boyte Murphy; husbands, Charlie Faughtenberry and Marvin Sonntag; and sisters, Hazel Carroll and Daisey Robinson. Georgia is survived by her five children, Jerry Faughtenberry and wife, Margaret of Arlington, Ronald Faughtenberry and wife, Michelle of Arlington, Deborh Lowery, Elizabeth Castleberry and husband, James Shawn, Melissa Wilkerson and husband, Kyle of Canton; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. Pallbears are Sam Robinson, Jeremy Faughtenberry, John Herron, Al Vigil, Larry Sadler, Wade Castleberry. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed to see her king.
