Geraldine Lucille (Hendrix) Ray's Obituary
Geraldine Lucille (Hendrix) Ray was born on July 28, 1921 in Maypearl, Tx. as one of four children to Felix and Lucille Hendrix. She was married for 47 years to Norman Ray and worked by his side at J.H. Ray Jewelry Company in Dallas, Tx. along with their son, Skip, for many years. She enjoyed music and teaching bible study at Lakewood Baptist Church, and later at Wilshire Baptist Church. She stepped into Heaven on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Wilshire Baptist Chapel at 3p.m with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment at Restland Memorial Park will follow the service. Gerry (94) was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Lucille Hendrix, her loving husband, Norman Ray, and brothers Buddy and Erwin Hendrix. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl and husband Fred; son Norman “Skip” Ray Jr., and his wife Cindie; sister Donna Sheffield; grandchildren Chris, Elicia, Jordan and his wife Wendy; great-grandchildren Joshua and Jonah. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
