Gertrude Ruth Bailey was born May 8, 1921 in Paris, Texas to Hattie Bearden and Eugene Patterson. She passed away June 18, 2016 in Wills Point, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters, spouse Robert Cook Buckner Bailey Sr., son, Jerry Bailey and granddaughter Angel Higgins. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. She is survived by 5 Children, Robert Bailey Jr., Sandra Richardson, Richard Bailey, Mary Legore, Terry Bailey Sr.,17 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great -Great Grandchildren. Gertrude was a loving and caring person. Some of her best moments were when her family was able to get together. She would listen to them tell stories about growing up and memories they would always cherish about her. This always made her smile. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
