Glen Edward Teason's Obituary
Glen Edward Teason, 83, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024, at home in Garland, Texas. Born on May 24, 1941 in Worth, Illinois, to Edwin and Ronnie Teason, Glen lived life with curiosity, faith and good humor. A telephony engineer by training and natural salesman, he pioneered a successful forty year career in the mobile communications industry, traveling the world for work and pleasure. He was a lifelong photographer, scuba diver, and gardener, active in his church community. Glen and his wife supported many causes, helping to build a school in Africa, and regularly volunteered together at New Beginnings Cat Rescue.
Glen is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lana; his daughters, Michelle Dodsworth and Tricia Teason; and four grandchildren, Spencer, Stirling, Anna, and Adam. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jason.
A graveside service for family and close friends will be held on October 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Dallas with a reception to follow in the Restland Event Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Glen’s memory. The family thanks his nurse, Nnenna, and caregivers, Tammy and Victoria, for their compassionate care.
