It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Jean Spotts, beloved mother,
grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on December 8, 2024, at the age
of 84. Gloria was born on July 25, 1940, and spent her life touching the hearts of all who knew
her.
Gloria was a devoted mother to her daughter, Lori Jones, and son, Mike Spotts. Her family was
her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her unwavering
love and kindness shaped the lives of her children, and she instilled in them values of
compassion, resilience, and strength.
A woman of warmth and generosity, Gloria had a natural gift for making those around her feel
special. Whether through her infectious laugh, her thoughtful advice, or simply her presence, she
made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was known for her genuine care and concern for
others, always ready to lend a helping hand.
Gloria was also a proud grandmother, and her grandchildren were a source of immense pride and
joy. She took great pleasure in watching them grow and thrive, offering support and love at every
step.
Throughout her life, Gloria was a pillar of strength and grace. Her legacy of love, kindness, and
generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. While she will be
dearly missed, her memory will remain in the stories we share and the lives she touched.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and loved ones, but she is survived by her daughter
Lori Jones, her son Mike Spotts, and her extended family, who will carry on her memory with
love and gratitude.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the
family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Gloria’s memory,
