Hannelore and I have shared our children and our lives since my daughter and her son were married. She has been unfailingly kind and gracious. I will always remember her care for her mother and all she loved. She introduced me to real German food, which she served on special occasions along with the stories and history behind the meals. I will miss her terribly. Our lives are diminished by her absence. Gwendolyn Megason
Hannelore was such a wonderful neighbor! I grew up living next door to this fine lady. I'll never forget her helping me to write a note to a friend of mine in German. She always had that cute smile and you never entered her home without her offering you something to eat or drink! I will miss you Hannelore!!!
I grew up in the house next door to John and Hannelore, and we could not have asked for better neighbors. Hannelore was always so wonderful to us, kind and thoughtful in every way. Even since I have grown up and moved away, I still looked forward every Christmas to exchanging cards. Hannelore will not be forgotten, and she will be missed!
