Ms. Hattie Louise Macewich's Obituary
MACEWICH, HATTIE LOUISE born July 6, 1920 in Edgewood, TX and passed away November 16, 2007 in Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Macewich. Hattie is survived by her daughter, Joan McCoy and spouse Chuck; grandchildren, Cody McCoy and Benetley McCoy; great grandchild, Avery McCoy; brother-in-law, John Kemp; nieces, Carolyn, Becky, and Mikayla Wiser; and nephews, Brent and Shannon Wiser and their son Cole. Hattie graduated from Edgewood High School in 1938. She was a seamstress in Men’s tailoring for many years and worked for Sanger Brother’s and J.C. Penny’s. During World War II, she assembled B17’s in Southern California for Boeing Aircraft Company and worked in an Army Ordinance Plant, which made ammunition. She was a great Mom, Grandma, Auntie and neighbor. She will be missed by all. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, November 19, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
