Hazel Garrett's Obituary
GARRETT, HAZEL MARIE (BARTLOW) – Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2012. She was born August 10, 1918, in Montezuma, Indiana. She was a lifelong Presbyterian and served in all facets of church life: choir, Sunday school teacher, session member, Presbytery president. She worked tirelessly in her hometown of Montezuma, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wayne, two brothers, Max and Paul Bartlow, and a sister, Grace Keller. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Larry Gerard of Dallas, TX; and two granddaughters, Michelle (Mrs. John) Ramahlo of Carmel, NY, and Suzanne (Mrs. Greg) Bristol of Dallas, TX. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Richardson, 271 N. Walton Street, Richardson, TX 75081. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Richardson.
