Helen Louise Crumpacker 5/29/40 - 12/16/2020
Helen Louise Crumpacker, age 80 of Prosper, Texas, born in Washington, DC to Vera and Graef Buehm, passed away on December 16, 2020. She was married to Harry Crumpacker on the 5th of April 1965 in Bethesda, Maryland at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Helen was an avid bridge player since her college years at Western Maryland College, and always belonged to an
active bridge club. She was a wonderful cook and continually shared recipes with her grown children. She was also an avid reader and loved to keep up with current authors through her book club in Prosper. Helen raised five children, her proudest accomplishment.
She was preceded in death by her brother Bill, who died when she was twenty-one and her daughter Haydn, who died while a student at TCU. She is survived by her husband Harry and her daughter Julie, son Harry and twin sons John and David, granddaughter Mason, grandson Christopher and great grandchildren Emma and Jackson.
Because of the restrictions caused by the Pandemic, Helen’s life will be celebrated at a small family only service at graveside in Restland. After it is safe for larger groups to gather the family will hold a memorial service for her many friends in the new year.
