Helen Louise Gary's Obituary
Major Helen Wilson Gary was born in Richmond, Virginia on July 20, 1944 and was Promoted to Glory on Thursday, April 2,2020.
We rejoice because we know that the moment she was absent from us she was present with Jesus. Our hearts ache at the loss of such an amazing mother and grandmother, devoted wife, and wonderful friend to so many. We know without a shadow of doubt that she heard Jesus say, “We’ll done thy good and faithful servant” and that she was welcomed into glory by her husband, Major Francis Gary.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Major Francis Gary; her parents, Brigadiers Fred and Grace McCune; and sister, Betty May Moran.
She is survived by her son, Chris Gary and friend Tily Perry; her daughter, Cynthia Ard and husband Clay Ard; her granddaughters, Jordan and Sydney Gary, Brittany and Hannah Dulgher; her grandson, Christian Dulgher; and great-grandson Johnathan Gary.
There will be a private viewing for the immediate family at Restland . The official Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date after the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
