Henry Walter Cechan's Obituary
Henry W. Cechan was born on October 1, 1924 and passed away on December 29, 2016 in Allen, TX. Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Antonie Altman Cechan, his father, Henry A. Cechan and his brother, Frank A. Cechan. Henry is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn Taylor Cechan, two sons: Ronnie Cechan and spouse Toni, Donnie Cechan and spouse Leslie. Additionally, Henry is survived by two grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Henry joined the Navy to serve his country after the bombing at Pearl Harbor. He served on the USS Houston while in the Navy. He was employed by Texas Instruments and worked as an engineer for 39 years. Mr. Cechan’s family will receive friends on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any charity of your choice.
