We’ve followed ICR for many years. We met with Dr Henry and Jan in Havre de Grace, MD, for lunch (2014?). It was a wonderful day full of encouragement and fellowship. I was contemplating admitting my mom to assisted living. It was a very hard decision. Dr Henry said we could still honor my mom, but I didn’t have to do the care giving myself. He only confirmed what I felt the Lord was leading me to do.

Never had the chance to meet Dr. Henry. But have used the institution of creation research devotionals for years. What a blessing! Just read his obituary and saw that he was a member of first Baptist of Dallas. As a young man at Tennessee Temple college in Chattanooga Tennessee, I feel that I heard his dad or granddad speak. What a blessing Dr. Henry was to us even though our paths did not cross on earth but one of these days we will see him in heaven. Prayers for his family and ICR. ROY NUNN
Jan an;d Henry joined our McLaughlin Bible Class at First Baptist Dallas when they first arrived in Dallas. It was a delight to get to know them. Of course, Henry was soon asked to teach and so they weren't members long. However even though they left our class the friendship continued. Henry made a point of inviting us to various events at ICR and we often met and talked on the church campus.
Our hearts go out to Jan and the rest of the family. They are in our daily prayers. Henry was truly a Godly man. He was a calming influence in this difficult world and the patriarch of the family.
