Herb was a beautiful soul and made everyone he came in contact with feel like someone special. His smile brightened the room. I met Herb through his volunteer work with SPE 27 years ago and I looked forward to seeing him every year at our annual meeting. Herb recruited over 2800 members to SPE, he spoke to everyone and you just felt like you had known him your whole life. I was so sad to hear of his passing. His bright light will shine brighter in Heaven... till we meet again. My deepest sympathy to the family and may Gods love and comfort you.
Many happy memories with Herb & Margaret. My husband Jim and I were blessed to be friends with Herb & Margaret in Dallas. They shared many Cajun recipes with us that we enjoyed over the years. Herb was always fun, supportive and encouraging to all. A great man and a great patriot! Peace to you, Herb.
