Everett, H.J. was born on October 26, 1934 in Ben Wheeler, Texas and passed away on June 19, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ennis Everett; daughter, Elaine Brooks; and sister, Lillie Courtney. H.J. is survived by his wife, Marlene Everett; daughter Julia Lathan and husband, Tim; son Russell Everett and wife, Dawn; four grandchildren; brother, Harlon Everett and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the American Cancer Society or Texas Parks and Wildlife.
