H.B. lived his life with incredible energy, working at his engineering company until the end of his life. He left commercial aviation, but never lost his passion for flying. He spent hours working on aircraft engines and flew well into his 70’s. His other interests and hobbies included deep-sea fishing, hunting, boating and ‘tinkering’ with engines. H.B. cherished his daily walks with dear friend Dr. Fred Minton, as well as talking politics and business with his trusted COO Babu G’Vam. He was a founding member of Brookhaven Country Club and a member of Royal Oaks Country Club. He was active in the Dallas Friday Club, his Sunday School class and weekly Bible study. He sat on numerous business boards in the Dallas area over his long career. He is survived by his wife Beth; daughters Lisa and Jayne; Grandsons, Steven and Josh; sister Geraldine, brother Frank and son-in-law Mike.
