Hope Harmon Macon's Obituary
Hope Harmon Macon went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 5th, She was born on August 16, 1920. Hope went to work for the Government in Washington D.C. during WWII and was eventually transferred to Dallas, where she met the love of her life James W, Macon. They wee happily married for 56 years before he preceded her in death. They had two daughters Laurie Macon Shine and her Husband Jim, and Marty Macon. They had three granddaughters Jennifer Shine Dyer and her husband Mike, Amy Shine Range and her husband Jamie, and Molly Macon Rey and her husband Michael. Blessed with 5 great grand children Jack and Avery Range, and Gunner, Daniel, and Macon Rey. Hope loved all her extended family that she visited every summer at Lake Koronis. She was an intelligent, happy, warm individual who was liked by all and will be truly missed. Her family thanks, all of her friends and neighbors for their friendship and kind thoughts. Graveside service will be held in the garden of the last supper on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
