Howard Thomas Hodges, born on October 8, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on November 22, 2024, in Plano, Texas. Howard was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindness and dedication.
Howard had a deep faith and was an active member of both St. Gabriel's Catholic Church and Cottonwood Church. His spiritual life was a cornerstone of his existence, and he found great joy in his church communities.
Howard graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree from Purdue University, and was an active member in Triangle Fraternity. Shortly after college he served in the army branch as captain, where he also earned his MBA from the University of Utah. Howard went on to work a rewarding 25 years at Texas Instruments before retiring.
He cherished spending time with his wife Judy and his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Howard was an avid reader, a lover of history, a tinkerer and an engineer at heart. He loved traveling to the mountains, where he enjoyed drinking in the beautiful landscapes.
Howard is survived by his mother, Barbara, his brothers Mark and Eric, and his sister, Penny. He is also survived by his loving wife, Judy; his son, Anthony Metz and his wife Sara; his daughter, Jessica Myhre and her husband Travis; his son, Kyle Hodges and his wife Allison; and his cherished grandchildren, Adalyn, Thomas, William, Reagan, and Eleanor.
Howard's legacy of love, faith, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
