Hugo Herbert Hornberger's Obituary
Born on September 20, 1926 in Austin, TX and passed away on December 3, 2007 in Dallas, TX. He is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Hornberger. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; sons, Brant and wife, Marcia; Blair and wife, Lora; daughter-in-law, Beth Hornberger; grandchildren, Staci Cook and husband Justin; Jeff; Shelli Phillips and husband, Jerry; Bobby and wife, Sarah; Bill and wife, Tina; Brad; Brooke; Kelsi and Jacee Kiper; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Jamison Cook, Julianna Cook, Reagan Cook, Kendall Phillips, and Emily, Connor, and Caden Hornberger; and sister, Evelyn Mueller. Herbert worked for a wholesale plumbing supply business for 30 years. He was a summer league baseball coach and commissioner for BBI and was also PTA President for elementary and junior high school in DISD. Herbert was a 47 year member of Windsor Park Baptist Church, and a member of the Shriners. He was a diehard Longhorn fan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Wednesday December 5, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 4PM Thursday December 6, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
