Barbara and Nita, I was deeply saddened to hear of Ila's illness. I wanted to remember her outgoing, energizing personality that she always had. I hold very special memories of her in my heart. The first year we moved into the house, she bought us a Christmas present and I was so excited. The time she let me wash her supper dishes and then paid me twenty cents. I was rich. She gave me a baby shower when we got Chelsey. It was the BEST!! She was always there for our family in happy times and sad times. I hope the 4 of them have reunited in Heaven and can sit and talk about their lives down here. She is a beautiful person. Love always, Cindy

Nita & Don we are so sorry for your loss. Ila was a beautiful person and we enjoyed visiting with her at family functions and get togethers. Ila, just know you will forever be remembered and missed by the many many friends left here on earth. We will meet again though and I am sure Herbert and my daddy were waiting at those pearly gates when you arrived. I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciated all the times you snitched on me and Cindy when you would see us doing something we shouldnt have been doing. I know now you truly were my mothers and Ruth's second set of eyes. You are a wonderful mother and grandmother and great grandmother . Your infectious laugh and smile will never be forgotten. You fought a really hard battle with the cancer but still won as God has healed you and stood good on his promise of everlasting life. You just made it there before the rest of us. May you sing with the angels , rejoice with Herbert and laugh at daddy's constant jokes .Until we meet again , Rest in Peace , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in your new home with our Heavenly Father.

Barbara , Nita , Don and family, Just know our prayers are with you all . Your mother was so graceful and kind. I'm sure it will be hard on you all with her absence but she has left a legacy of memories for you all to rememeber and look back on . Dear Family Our love and prayers go out to all of you through this difficult time. Ila was never one to be still, always on the go with so much to do. If she wasn't working in the yard she was working in the house. I remember most how the parents use to all take turns sitting in each others yards while the kids played…(yea the windows were left open and the doors unlocked), they would talk till all hours of the night (at least till 10 maybe 10:30 p.m.). May you forever keep the memories of such loving and caring parents. Always in our hearts and forever in our prayers. Donna, Andy and Boys
