James Albert Samples (J. A.), 89, of Lake Kiowa, TX passed into the loving arms of Jesus on February 23, 2025, in Lake Kiowa, TX. A service to celebrate J. A.’s life is planned on Monday, March 3 at First Baptist Church, Whitesbo Read Obituary
JA was one of the finest men I have known. A believer and servant of Jesus Christ, he was active in serving Him wherever he lived. His passing is our loss here on Earth, but I know JA is worshiping Christ in Heaven.
May the Holy Spirit hold Mabel and the family in his arms during this time.
J.A. Was Sunday School Director when my husband, Bill Howse, was asked to be the first Minister of Education at Calvary Baptist, Garland, Tx. We were newly weds. Ready to learn a lot. The first thing I learned was how JA and other deacons loved to tease me about how many hats I had ( they moved us).
Happy years with people who were great in out reach. J.A. and Mabel were our leaders. We were blessed having crossed paths with the Sample family.
