Jack Kinder Jr.'s Obituary
Jack Kinder, Jr., an icon and legend in the Life Insurance business, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 after a long illness. Jack was co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of Kinder Brothers International. Jack influenced the lives of most people in the insurance business whether an Agent, Manager or Corporate Executive. His Personality, Principles, Procedures and Philosophies will continue to resonate with all of us that were touched by Jack. Kinder Brothers International has been in business since 1976 and continues to provide Sales and Management training to more than 300 client companies around the world. And as Jack would say, “The Best is Yet to Be.” Jack was born in Pekin, Illinois on March 5, 1928. He graduated from Pekin High School and Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. Jack was an outstanding athlete in high school and college excelling in three sports: football, basketball and baseball. Jack was married to Mary Sue Weers on November 6, 1955; they were married for 59 years. Jack was active in the Kidney Foundation of Texas and was a co-founder of the Major League Baseball Chapel. He was the founder of the Impact Class at First Baptist Church in Dallas. Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Kinder, his daughter, Jayne Clement, his son-in-law, Craig Clement and his three grandchildren Kendall, Chase and Mary Haley, his granddaughter-in-Iaw, Lauren, his great grandson, Hudson, his brother, Garry, his sister-in-law Janet; his nieces and nephews, and many many friends. Jack was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jack Kinder and Edith Lauterbach Kinder and his brother James. The visitation for Jack Kinder will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Jack Kinder will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at The First Baptist Church, Dallas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Roaring Lambs Ministries, First Baptist Dallas, The Bill Glass Behind The Walls Prison Ministry, Coaches Outreach and Happy Hills Farm.
