Jackie Newman Page's Obituary
Jack Page started life April 22, 1933 in Hillsboro, Texas. Growing up in Mexia, Texas, he attended Mexia High School, was a member of the marching band and graduated in 1950. During the Korean War, he served in the US Army as a company clerk and identified very closely with the “Radar” character from MAS*H. He attended North Texas State College, where he put himself through school, and earned a BA in Business. In 1959, he married the love of his life, Sandra and settled in Dallas. Jack loved to work. He spent many years in the corporate insurance world. As a workers’ compensation specialist, he traveled from coast to coast as a consultant to major corporations. He loved the game of golf and the tee-time of 9:08am at the Grapevine Gold Course. After a lengthy illness, he passed October 26, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra, daughter Traci Schoberle, son-in-law, Frank Schoberle and grandson, Benjamin Schoberle. Preceded in death by his parents, Newman and Nell Page and sister, Patricia Page Smith. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 11-1-11, 6-8pm at Restland, Memorial Service Wednesday, 11-2-11, 12:30pm Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, make donations to your favorite charity.
