ALKIRE, JAMES was born on June 15, 1927 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on September 12, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Alkire and Margaret Kreutzig; son, Robert Alkire; grandchildren, Katie Morrison, Jenny Shultz, Jeremy Alkire, Amber Alkire and Kelsy Alkire and five great grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation one hour prior in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Colorado School of Mines, 1500 Illinois St. Golden, CO 80401(303) 273-3000
