James Dale Carson's Obituary
Born December 16, 1949 in Memphis, TN and raised in Bruce, MS. Mr. Carson graduated from Columbia Military Academy in Columbia, TN and Baylor University in Waco, TX. He was an ordained Baptist minister who served churches in northern Mississippi including Tula, Mississippi. He served as a missionary in Sierra Leone. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, TX, McLaughlin Sunday School Class and member of Sanctuary Choir. Mr. Carson was currently employed at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. He went to be with his Lord on the 23rd of February 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Obie Carson and Eva Mae Vanlandingham Carson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lee Harris Carson. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial service, 1pm, Sat., March 7 at First Baptist Dallas Heritage Chapel, 1707 San Jacinto, Dallas, TX.
