James Marrion Wise's Obituary
James Marrion Wise, age 81, of Farmers Branch, Texas, left this world to go be with our Lord Jesus Sunday night, February 19, 2017. Born April 27, 1935, in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Jim Reice Wise and Reba Iverna (Cobb) Wise. Jim proudly and with honor served his country in the Army during the Cuban Missile from 1958 – 1964. Jim began a long career as an aircraft mechanic first with Braniff and later retired from Dalfort Aviation in June of 2000. Jim loved to spend time with his family and besides his grandchildren his passion was airplanes. He was actively involved as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and prior to becoming ill he volunteered his time at Webb Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Earnestine Springer Wise; along with five children; Carl and Angie Carpenter of Hickory Creek, Texas, Shannon and Scott Moisan of Flower Mound, Texas, Judy and Pete Salicco of Burleson, Texas, Jeff and Pam Wise of Ennis, Texas, and Jonny Wise of Ft. Meyers, Florida; 12 grandchildren, Logan Carpenter, Jaclyn Carpenter, Casey Old, Nichole Moisan, Forrest Moisan, Colton Moisan, Michael Fowler, Jason Fowler, Dustin Wise, Jeremy Wise, Kevin Wise, and Kelly Wise ; and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church located at 2000 Denton Drive in Carrollton, Texas with Pastor Mark Dallalio officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 with the service starting at1:30. Graveside services will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be eight of his grandsons. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
