Janet Sue Nihart's Obituary
Janet Sue Nihart, a resident of Richardson, passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 78. She was born September 17, 1944 to Jewell Higgins and Marquerite (Hawkins) Higgins in Kansas City, Missouri. On November 29, 1969, she married the love of her life, Glenn Ray Nihart in Raytown, Missouri. Janet worked for Berkner High School as a receptionist, where she retired after 19 years. She loved traveling with her husband, going to casinos and working in her yard. Janet never met a stranger and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Marquerite Higgins and daughter, Heather Nihart.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Glenn Ray Nihart of the home; brother, Richard Higgins and wife, Lou Ellen of Lee's Summit, MO; three nephews, Don Higgins and wife, Chris of Blue Springs, MO, Brad Higgins and wife, Anna of Butler, MO and Barry Higgins and partner Julie of Blue Springs, MO; many great nephews and nieces.
