Jean Taylor's Obituary
Jean answered to many names...Jean, Honey, Mom, Sis, Aunt Motsey, Grandmommie. She loved her family and her friends. She enjoyed wii bowling and beat all of her opponents, which was a source of fun and enjoyment for everyone. She faithfully watched the Texas Rangers play baseball and really enjoyed going to games in person with family. She loved her church and her Sunday school class. She enjoyed her career in Abilene,Texas at the Bank of Commerce/First Financial Bank for 29 years where she was Vice President of Bookkeeping. Her life was full with old friends, new friends and family who loved her.
Jean is survived by her son, Bill C. Taylor and his wife Alana of Allen, TX; a daughter, Deborah Taylor of Watauga, TX; a sister, Kathryn Samples of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren, Casey Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Kristin Taylor Murray and her husband Rick, Wes Taylor and his wife Rachel; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Taylor, brother, John Henry Shaffer, Jr. of Kileen, TX and her parents, John Henry Shaffer Sr. and Myrtle Mae Morris...
