Jerrilynn Jay's Obituary
Born March 12, 1959 in Dallas, TX. She left her earthly home for a better life on the other side on July 10, 2008 after a valiant battle with breast, lung and brain cancer since 2004. She has been an inspiration and a hero to everyone around her and will be deeply missed by her family and a host of friends. Preceded in death by her sister, Malinda Y. Blair and her father, Jerry W. Blair. Survived by parents; Wesley and Wyvonne Blackburn of Garland, brothers; Mitchell Blair and wife, Cheryl of Kaphman, Texas, Richard Blair and wife Lori of Garland, and Diron Blackburn and wife, Stacie of Cypress, Texas, and granddaughter, Arianna Jay and many loving nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She loved and was loved by everyone she met. In lieu of flowers she requested donations be made to any organization doing cancer research. A celebration of her extraordinary life will be held for her on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel at 12:30 pm, Monday, July 14 with Pastor Bob Bickford officiating the service. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
