Jimmy Pat Weatherford's Obituary
Jimmy Weatherford, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2021 in Midlothian Texas. Jimmy was born on January 11, 1942 to his loving parents Allen & Frances Weatherford in an ambulance somewhere between Midlothian and Waxahachie Texas. He married Lorraine (Randy) Bunnell on July 14, 1963 and started their family soon after. Jimmy is survived by his wife Randy Weatherford, children Shelley Chaffin (Tony), Laurie Pike, Vicky Alcorn (Aaron) and Kevin Weatherford. Siblings Jerry Weatherford (Maxine), Buddy Weatherford (Sissy) and Debbie Blevins. 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Allen and Frances Weatherford; brother Charles Weatherford. Jimmy believed in God, family and hard work. He was a plumber by trade but a Jack of all trades. He worked many jobs over the years but retired from Bell Helicopter after 13 years. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need but had a hard time asking or accepting help from anyone himself. He believed in keeping your word and telling the truth. He believed if you were on time you were late. He loved all of his family from his parents, siblings, wife, kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and extended family with his whole heart and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and those that knew him. Funeral services for Jimmy are as follows - viewing will be Sunday March 28, 2021 from 3-5 PM at Restland Funeral Home and service will be in the Memorial Chapel at Restland on Monday March 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM.
