Joan Miller Hill's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joan Miller Hill announces her passing on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at the age of 78 years. Joan was born on April 14, 1940 in Kaufman, TX to Charles and Florence (Bailey) Miller. Her sunny, caring disposition is fondly etched in the memory of all who knew her.She was preceded in death by Jimmy Brook Hill Sr., her devoted husband of 57 years; as well as her siblings: Bill Miller, Bob Miller, Mrs. Bob Cooper, and Mrs. Fay Dorough.Joan will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jimmy Brook Hill Jr.; daughter, Kelley Watson and husband Rodney; siblings, Mrs. Guinn Godwin and Gayle Miller; grandchildren, Joshua Markham and wife Joni, Alex Hill and wife Sherrel, Baylee Fouse and Brandon Bill, and Tanner Watson; and two adorable great grandchildren, Blake Hill and Evan Hill. She is also survived by a multitude of nephews, nieces and friends who all loved her dearly.Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at The Restland Wildwood Chapel. Service will be officiated by Derek Strauss with songs by Joni Strauss Markham.
