John and Alphiene have been very dear friends for the past several years and treated us like family. John was genuinely loving, caring, very gentle and generous. He was a man of great faith and his love for Alphiene and his family inspired us greatly. He was greatly talented and knowledgeable, and we admired the work he did on his fish aquariums/ tanks and his gardening and wine making skills. He was our go-to person on when to plant and harvest. He was also a great cook and we enjoyed wonderful meals with him and Alphiene. His lemon pickles were particularly good and he and Alphiene shared many a bottle (which we still have) with us. John still lives in our hearts and fond memories will always be with us. Eternal rest grant unto John O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen 🙏. Our thoughts and prayers are with Alphiene, Alex and Adeline and the family. May God give them great strength and comfort and be with them always.
