John Albert Heinen's Obituary
John A. Heinen of Dallas passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer. He was born in Trenton, MO to his parents George and Pauline Heinen. He attended Bishop McGuiness High School in Oklahoma City and the University of Oklahoma. In 1964, he married his life companion and best friend, Gail Gillespie in Dallas. John founded Amersol, Inc. in 1974 and spent many years building and running this successful Dallas business. John recently returned “home” to Dallas after several years at Lake Whitney where he belonged to the White Bluff Chapel and enjoyed the Wednesday Golf Guys at White Bluf. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and Jim Walker, granddaughter Madeline Kate Walker, Dallas; sister Anne Muller, Plano; brother-in-law and wife, Earl and Sylvia Gillespie, Charlottesville; VA, brother-in-law, Richard Gillespie MD, Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews. His family and friends loved him for his kindness, his selfless generosity, and his great sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:Bonnie J.
