Chris & I worked with John while at Intuit and grew to be a good friend of ours. He was a wonderful man, kind sould and generous spirit. We both loved the conversations we would have with John at any of our parties; they could go from just 10 minutes to hours, but they were always wonderful to have! Our prayers and thoughts are with you all!!!
I found John to be a very caring person who loved Jesus, his family, and friends. He had a tender heart, and, he was always willing to help others. Although we will miss John, we can find comfort in knowing he is with Jesus, and that his suffering is over. I pray that God will comfort you, his family, and that your memories will bring you happiness as you celebrate the life he lived.
John's candor, strong faith, and marvelous voice will always be remembered by the Lighthouse Class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We wish his family the peace that passes all understanding during this time. God bless you!

John and I met in High School. We were in Mr. Stockton's class. For the life of me I cannot remember what class it was, but I remember the quite studious John talking about a game called Risk. I'm not sure that we ever played the game, but we had a long history together as he joined our family by marrying my sister. I watched him become a dad to my first two nephews and advance his career. John was quite and determined in all that he did. John will be missed, and always part of my memories. My thoughts are with his family during this time of loss, but encourage them to remember that shy young man that grew up to be a man.

John regularly attended our bible fellowship class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach the class that John attended as he was an active participant in discussions. John was bless with intelligence and wisdom and it was displayed in class to the point where John would have been more than capable to teach the class. John was warm and caring and he loved the Lord. We are going to miss John but we can celebrate the fact that he is with the Lord, he has no more pain and is no longer suffering. He has a new body but he has the same loving and warm spirit which he displayed in our class.
I knew John from our bible study class on Saturday nights. John was a very gentle and caring person who was passionate about God and country. He spoke kindly of his family especially his sons. I am sure that he will be missed greatly however I know that he is in a better place were there is no more sorrow only abounding joy. God Bless you and your family.
