John Gordon Moss' Obituary
MOSS, JOHN GORDON born April 8, 1931 in Hoboken, New Jersey, has passed away December 20, 2012 in Garland, Texas. Major Moss served 20 years as a pilot in the US Air Force, including time as a hurricane hunter and flew several USO mission trips. John is survived by his daughter, Alison Schmidt and son in law, Chuck Schmidt; his son, Steve Moss and daughter in law, Debbie Moss; grandchildren, Jason Harris, Chris Harris, Stephen Moss, April Moss, Trey Schmidt, Kassie Schmidt Martinez; and 6 great grandchildren. . A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
