John Wesley Wood of Plano, died Sunday September 8th at his home. He was born August 14, 1952 in Richmond,VA.John received his college degree from the University of Virginia where he studied chemistry, business and history. John spent a successful career in the petro chemical industry leaving to pursue his own business as a promotional consultant utilizing his creative abilities. John enjoyed reading, spending time with his family and friends and canine companions.He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Laurie of 36 years and his many nieces and nephews.A celebration of Johns life will be held at Restland funeral home Friday, September 13th at 2:30 pm Memorial donations can be made to the Chris Kyle Frog FoundationFuneral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
