Joseph L Williams' Obituary
WILLIAMS, JOSEPH LAWRENCE, 76, passed peacefully on May 24, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Joe was born October 29, 1941 to Joseph and Fern Williams in Dallas, TX, attended Texas A&M University and served as an Army veteran stationed in Germany at USAG Bamburg. Joe will be remembered as an amazing Father, friend and companion; a man with a huge heart and a warm laugh, who loved deeply and immediately. An active member of the Dallas community, Joe spent his time as a role model and Scoutmaster for more than 25 years and served as social organizer for the Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 1960. Joe is survived by sons, Chris and wife, Kara; Randall and wife, Caitte; brother, Greg and wife, Suzy; as well as countless extended family and close friends. Joe was preceded in death by his eldest son, Joe C. Williams. Services will be held Sunday, May 27,, 2018 at 2:30 pm, in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Freedom Service Dogs, DAV Charitable Trust or the Veterans’ organization of your choice.
