Josephine Birdcreek Gomez was born April 20, 1937 in Weleetka, OK and passed away December 10, 2015 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by her parents Roman and Susie West Birdcreek, sister Marie BirdcreekThompson and her extended family a grandson John Michael Svitak. Survived by husband of 57 years Rudolph Gomez, Sr of Dallas, TX, son Rudolph Gomez, Jr and spouse Darla Gomez of Allen, TX, daughter Carmen Gomez Svitak and spouse Michael Svitak of Dewey, OK and grandson Matthew T. Gomez of Dallas, TX. She leaves behind her family, extended family and friends which are many. Her sister is Amanda Birdcreek Soap of Farmers Branch, TX, brother Carven Birdcreek of Whiteriver, AZ. and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother to Audrey Svitak Royal and husband Russell, Jessie A. Svitak and wife Ofelia and great grandchildren Liberty Svitak, Iceo Svitak, Jurnie Svitak, Hazel Svitak, Kaira Coleman, Kaylen Coleman, Kaden Coleman and Kamden Svitak. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at Dallas Indian United Methodist Church. Service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
