Joyce Eloise Kelley's Obituary
A loving mother, grandmother and friend departed this life on December 1, 2008 at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 1 day. She was born in Klondike, TX on September 30, 1922 to Martin and Birdie Fedrick. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brother Omer Fedrick; and sisters, Helen Henson and Doris Fedrick. She is survived by three sons, James Marland Kelley, Jr. of Grapevine, Thomas Anthony Kelley of Dallas, and Brent Allen Kelley of Bedford; one grandson, Kyle David Kelley of Longview; one brother, Kenneth Fedrick of Yuma, AZ; one sister, Barbara Miller of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews; her church family; and a host of friends. She was employed as an operator for 37 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was passionate about life and enjoyed travel, social clubs and time with friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ since 1938 and an active member of the Highland Oaks Church of Christ for the last 25 years. Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 2:00pm. Internment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Medina Children’s Home, 21300 State Hwy 16 North, Medina, TX 78055.
