Ulonda, Thinking, crying, and praying for you and your family during this time of loss. My deepest sympathies.
Thinking of you all and praying for peace and comfort in your loss. We have very fond memories of the times we were able to be around JR through the years at family gatherings. He was usually fairly quiet, but when he had something to say it was said with a kind, sweet spirit. He always had a gleam in his eye and a smile on his face. I know he will be missed by many. Love and prayers to you all. Darylene and David Wadsack
To J.R.’s ChildrenI was saddened to read your dad’s obituary in this morning’s paper, but I have to be honest, thinking about him also made me smile. I was introduced to your parents in the early 1990’s by Carroll Baird and sold them the house on Rolling Hills Drive. Your dad was very loyal and called me back to sell the house for him in the summer of 2016 when you were “nudging him” to move to Katy. Our time together during the selling process brings back fond memories. Your dad was most amenable to any suggestions that I had to improve the showing of the house, but always insisted that he do everything himself. I’m not sure that he ever agreed with me that the heavy drapes overlooking the pool be left open for showings, but he made sure that they were just the same.I will miss your dad. He was truly “one of a kind”. So sorry that I cannot attend the funeral, but we have a family wedding this coming weekend in Austin.Best,Barry Hoffer Ebby Halliday Realtors
